Karyn Menck is the owner of Nashville-based Tennessee Captioning, and is a Registered Professional Reporter, Registered Merit Reporter, Registered Diplomat Reporter, Certified Realtime Reporter, Certified Realtime Captioner. In 1984, Karyn began her court reporting career in Nashville. After 11 years of court reporting, she added closed captioning to her business. Since 2000 she has concentrated solely on closed captioning and CART work. Karyn has captioned national and local programming for a variety of news, sports, entertainment, educational, and corporate programming across the country. She also provides CART and captioning for university students, theater productions, and professional football and grand slam tennis stadium captioning. Karyn is a member of the National Court Reporters Association, Tennessee Court Reporters Association, and Hearing Loss Association of America. She has held various positions within the Tennessee Court Reporters Association, is the past secretary of the Nashville chapter of Self Help for the Hard of Hearing/Hearing Loss Association of America, and a past board member for the National Court Reporters Association.

Jennifer M. Bonfilio currently owns Coast 2 Coast Captioning out of Asheville, NC, where she provides remote captioning in a variety of settings, including sports arenas, webcasts, college graduations, council meetings, state government, and TV broadcasts, among others. She assists court reporters transitioning into CART Captioning and Broadcast Captioning with group trainings and one-on-one training, as well as live and on-demand webinars. Ms. Bonfilio is also a certified trainer of Eclipse captioning software. She has been in the field of court reporting since 1984, CART since 1994 and captioning since 1999.

Sandra Smith is the President of Write-On Captioning & CART, Inc.  Ms. Smith graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1986.

She has worked as an Official Court Reporter, Freelance Court Reporter and CART/Broadcast Captioner.  Ms. Smith has experience in all aspects of broadcast captioning with an emphasis on sports.  She captioned a three-hour daily sports talk program for a major sports network for 10+ years.  Her CART experience includes on-site conventions, corporate meetings, college courses, press conferences.  She also provides tech assistance and training for captioners on Eclipse/Accucap.

Stephen Clark

Steve Clark has been a stenographic writer since 1985. After 12 years as a court reporter, he transitioned to broadcast captioning, and eventually to CART captioning. Steve specializes in stadium captioning and theater captioning. Training captioners to work with new remote platforms is a passion of his, particularly now when we are all working remotely. Steve is the Chair of the Global Alliance Board of Directors and a Founding Member.
